NYC’s Largest Solar Eclipse Viewing Party
New York City’s Largest Solar Ecllpse Veiwing Party. On April 8, 2024, history was made on Staten Island as the community came together to witness the largest solar eclipse viewing party in all of New York City. Held at the SIUH Community Park Stadium in St. George, this incredible event brought over 1,300 attendees to celebrate and experience this celestial phenomenon.
The event was a true collaboration of local spirit and enthusiasm, made possible by the support of Richmond Hood Company, Live Solar NYC, and the Staten Island Ferry Hawks. Attendees were treated to a day filled with education, entertainment, and awe as they witnessed the unforgettable beauty of the solar eclipse. This momentous occasion united the community, showcasing the best of Staten Island’s passion for science, togetherness, and the natural wonders of the universe.
